Cancellation Policy

AudiX believes in no lock-ins. You can cancel your account or subscription at any time — no questions asked, no penalties.

1. Cancelling Your Free Account

If you wish to delete your free AudiX account:

  1. Log in to your AudiX account at audix.site
  2. Go to Account Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account
  3. Confirm deletion

Upon deletion:

  • Your account and all associated profile data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
  • No uploaded financial data is stored, so there is nothing to delete on that front.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
  • This action is irreversible. A new account may be created with the same email after deletion.

2. Cancelling a Paid Subscription

Note: Paid subscriptions are not yet active. The following policy will apply when Pro and other paid plans are launched.

2.1 How to Cancel

  1. Log in to your AudiX account
  2. Go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan
  3. Select your cancellation reason (optional but helps us improve)
  4. Confirm cancellation

You will receive a cancellation confirmation email immediately.

2.2 What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation.
  • Your account automatically reverts to the free plan at the end of the billing period.
  • Your account data (profile, usage history) is retained on the free plan unless you also delete your account.
  • No pro-rated refund is issued for unused days in the current billing period (see Refund Policy).

2.3 Cancellation Deadlines

3. Pausing a Subscription

AudiX does not currently offer a subscription pause feature. If you need to temporarily stop using AudiX, you may cancel your paid plan and re-subscribe later at the then-current pricing.

4. Cancellation by AudiX

AudiX reserves the right to cancel or suspend your account in the following circumstances:

  • Violation of the Terms & Conditions or Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform
  • Non-payment of subscription fees (paid plans only)
  • Discontinuation of the AudiX platform (with 30 days advance notice)

In the event AudiX cancels your paid account for reasons other than policy violation, a pro-rated refund for unused days may be issued at AudiX's discretion.

5. Data After Cancellation

Upon account cancellation or deletion:

  • Uploaded financial data: Already not stored — no action required.
  • Profile data: Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
  • Usage history: Deleted within 30 days.
  • Email address: May be retained for anti-fraud and legal compliance purposes for up to 12 months.

You may request immediate deletion of all your data by writing to privacy@audix.site.

6. Reactivation

If you cancel your paid plan and later wish to resubscribe:

  • Your free plan account remains active — simply re-upgrade from Account Settings.
  • Pricing at the time of resubscription applies — your previous rate is not guaranteed.
  • If you deleted your account entirely, you may create a new account with the same email.
