AudiX ('we', 'us', 'our') is an audit and tax compliance automation platform accessible at audix.site. AudiX provides tools for GST reconciliation, TDS matching, Fixed Asset Register audit, and PDF data extraction — built for Indian CA firms, corporates, and finance professionals.

2.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account registration: Name, email address, and password when you sign up for a free or paid account.
- Profile information: Firm name, designation, and city (optional, provided by you).
- Waitlist: Email address if you join the Pro plan waitlist.
- Contact forms: Name, email, and message content when you write to us.
- Billing information: If and when paid plans are activated — billing name and payment details processed securely via third-party payment gateways. AudiX does not store card numbers.
2.2 Information Generated by Your Use
- Log data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time and date of access.
- Usage data: Features used, reconciliation runs performed, files uploaded (metadata only — see Section 3).
- Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for UI settings. See Section 7 for details.
2.3 Data You Upload for Processing
Critical: Files and documents you upload to AudiX (PDFs, Excel files, JSON exports) are processed in your session only and are never stored on AudiX servers after your session ends. We do not retain, read, or analyse your client financial data.
This applies to all uploaded documents including GSTR returns, TDS data, Form 26AS, Fixed Asset Registers, and any other financial documents.

- Create and manage your AudiX account
- Process reconciliation and extraction tasks within your session
- Send you account-related communications (signup confirmation, password reset)
- Provide customer support when you contact us
3.2 To Improve AudiX
- Understand which features are most used (aggregated, anonymised analytics only)
- Diagnose technical errors and performance issues
- Develop new features based on usage patterns
3.3 To Communicate With You
- Product updates, new feature announcements, and platform notifications
- Security alerts related to your account
- Responses to your support requests
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking 'Unsubscribe' in any email or writing to privacy@audix.site.
4.1 Where Data is Stored
Account data (name, email, usage logs) is stored on secure servers. AudiX uses reputable cloud infrastructure providers with data centres located in compliance with applicable data protection standards.
4.2 How We Protect Your Data
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS)
- Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (never in plain text)
- Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments
4.3 Data Retention
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active and for 90 days after deletion request.
- Uploaded files: Deleted immediately after your session ends. Not retained.
- Log data: Retained for up to 12 months for security and debugging purposes.
AudiX does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
We may share limited information only in these situations:
- Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors (email delivery, analytics, payment processing) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority in India.
- Business transfer: If AudiX is acquired or merged, user data may be transferred — you will be notified in advance.
- With your consent: If you explicitly authorise any other sharing.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes.
- Portability: Request your account data in a structured, machine-readable format.

7.1 What Cookies We Use
- Essential cookies: Required for login, session management, and security. Cannot be disabled.

- Analytics cookies: Anonymised usage data to understand how the product is used. Can be disabled.
7.2 Managing Cookies
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or through the cookie consent banner when you first visit AudiX. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
AudiX is a professional tool intended for adults (18+) and business entities. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
AudiX may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., GST portal, Income Tax portal, TRACES). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
